OBAYA
Near Fuenmayor (La Rioja ) Tempranillo and Garnacha vineyards for Obaya are placed. Some of the plots are grown in the traditional gobelet pruning, and other trellised.
In a landscape of hills, protected from the sea influence by Sierra Cantabria mountains, the altitude ranges between 400 and 700m. The climate is continental with cold winters and hot dry summers. The soil is mainly calcareous clay with different concentrations.
Two grapes: Tempranillo and Grenache, one origin, La Rioja, and two sisters where all starts.
This wines comes from La Rioja (but not attached to the DO) because Tempranillo brings the intensity and powerful and Garnacha, more delicate and soft, gives the touch of freshness and brilliance.

NEAR FUENMAYOR (LA RIOJA) TEMPRANILLO AND GARNACHA VINEYARDS FOR OH SISTER! ARE PLACED. SOME OF THE PLOTS ARE GROWN IN THE TRADITIONAL GOBELET PRUNING, AND OTHER TRELLISED.
